Whether you’re craving ocean views, lobster rolls, finger sandwiches, or pasta —we’ve got you covered.
Jacqui has put together a full list of her favs to celebrate Mother’s Day 2025 around Massachusetts (and just beyond), with a little extra magic built in for the whole family.
🌼 Lucia Ristorante – Winchester, MA
A cozy-chic Italian gem in the heart of Winchester, Lucia is perfect for a Mother’s Day dinner with big family energy. Their homemade pastas and wine list are divine, and the warm atmosphere makes it feel like you’re dining in someone’s beautiful Tuscan home. After your meal, take a stroll through downtown, grab a latte from Bagel Bar Winchester, and pick up a pretty bouquet from Rouvilas, the local florist.
🌊 Danversport – Danvers, MA
This North Shore classic offers waterfront views and a dreamy dining experience. Choose from their special Mother’s Day buffet for a menu packed with seafood favorites and comfort classics. Bonus: Jacqui runs the social media for Danversport and LOVES their family owned sanctuary. They treat everyone like an extension of their own which has been their mission for 70 years! You can also grab beautiful photo ops by the water to make your Mother’s Day memories.
☕️ Afternoon Tea at The Langham Hotel – Boston, MA
Feeling fancy? Afternoon Tea at The Langham Hotel is elegance with a side of mini pastries. Think delicate sandwiches, warm scones, and perfectly steeped tea in a stunning space. Perfect for mamas and minis alike. After tea, walk over to the Boston Public Garden for a swan boat ride
🐟 Saltie Girl – Newbury Street, Boston
Trendy and delicious, Saltie Girl is a seafood lover’s dream. From lobster rolls to oysters to the Insta-famous seafood towers, this spot on Newbury Street makes for a luxe, laid-back lunch or dinner. After you dine, stroll Newbury Street for a little retail therapy or grab dessert from one of the nearby sweet shops.
🍲 Shabu Zen – Chinatown, Boston
Shabu Zen is more than dinner—it’s an experience. Pick your broth, load up on meats and veggies, and cook it all right at your table. The kids love it, and so do we. Our go-to order: Mongolian broth, ramen, thin-sliced beef, and a watermelon smoothie. Afterward, walk through Chinatown for desserts, shopping, and photo ops galore.
🦞 The Causeway – Gloucester, MA
This no-frills seafood spot is a North Shore legend. Huge portions, never-gritty steamers, and all your New England faves done right. Make it a day trip and head over to Rockport after for shopping on Bearskin Neck and some ice cream by the harbor.
🍝 Tuscan Village – Salem, NH
Just over the MA border, Tuscan Village is a total escape with a Tuscan twist. From wood-fired pizzas to handmade pasta, you’ll find something for everyone here. There’s also shopping, outdoor space to roam, and a beautifully designed atmosphere that feels like a mini vacation. A great option for families who want food and fun in one place.
