Our Story

Hey there, mama.

I'm Jacqui, the owner and the one who handles just about everything here at Cosmo Capri.

Our journey started in 2018 as a trendy women's clothing pop-up and e-commerce boutique. But it wasn't until 2019, when I had my first daughter, Capri, that everything changed. The challenges I faced during pregnancy and postpartum made me realize something was missing. I wanted to create a space that truly celebrated soon-to-be mamas, postpartum mamas, and women with real bodies—women just like me.

As a proud Italian American born and raised just outside of Boston, family has always been at the heart of who I am. During college, I had the opportunity to live in Trastevere, Rome while studying abroad, where I completely fell in love with the beauty, warmth, and slower pace of Italian life. One place, in particular, captured my heart—Capri. Its charm, effortless style, and sense of joy left such a lasting impression that I later named my first daughter after it, and eventually, my boutique.

I also come from a big Sicilian family where food, traditions, Sunday dinners, and gathering around the table have always been our love language. Many of the values woven throughout Cosmo Capri are inspired by the women who raised me—their strength, generosity, resilience, and ability to make everyone feel at home.

Our boutique isn't just about mama-and-mini matching outfits—it's a "my mini & me" shop built around community. We cherish the conversations about motherhood, teething, nursing, sleepless nights, first steps, and all the beautiful, messy moments that come with raising little ones - especially those involving spaghetti.

Through Cosmo Capri, I hope to inspire my daughters to be creative, kind, open-hearted, and fearless. My mission is to extend that same inspiration to every woman who walks through our doors and to create a space where mamas feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

If you see me at one of our pop-ups, please come say hello. I'd love to hear your stories and connect over the beautiful chaos of motherhood.

With love and excitement,

Jacqui
